Wine
tasting in
Tuscany
can be an unforgettable experience. Especially
if it’s the smaller, less known vineyards one
visits.
|
 |
Many of these vineyards are
Tuscany
’s best kept secrets as the wines produced in
single vineyards truly capture the
characteristics of the land.
These vineyards intertwining between
silvery green olive groves covering the rolling
hills of
Tuscany
are more than enchanting.
Their vines, whose grapes bask all day
long under the warm Tuscan sun are more than a
simple gift from nature. Many of these grapes
have produced award winning wines.
Hand picked generation after generation,
these grapes and these grapes alone are what
make single vineyard wines special.

We
encourage guests to drive around the countryside
look for simple wine tasting signs along the
road in front of the smaller local vineyards.
Of course there are the bigger producers
who will always be easy to find by just
searching the net to get tour information and
hours. But
if you have the time to leisurely roam the
countryside we definitely suggest visiting a
smaller vineyard or two.
You’re sure to be pleasantly surprised. |

T.H.C.
occasionally organizes a morning walk through a
local organic vineyard together with wine and
olive oil tasting and a light lunch. If you have
a group of 8 to 10 and would like to book this
visit, feel free to email with your holiday
dates. We would be happy to send all pertinent
information. Please note that these personalized
visits are conducted during the spring and
summer. If
you are interested in visiting a vineyard during
the grape harvest (September) and would possibly
like to participate in a day of grape
harvesting, please email us with your questions
and we would be happy to send off any pertinent
information you might need.

enchanting little spot in a tiny piece of
